HR management during emergencies
During various assignments within the UN-system, HR tasks carried out, including recruitment and supervision of staff, to ensure effective crisis response operations and best practice HR management.
HR needs for newly independent East Timor
As a member of a consultant team, interviews with senior Government officials were conducted to collect data and analyze the priority human resource needs of the East Timorese Government ahead of independence.
The final report, which was based on the findings of the consultancy, was presented by UNDP at a special UN Security Council meeting and its suggestions were endorsed as an East Timor Presidential Statement.
Gender proposal screening
An international donor requested proposals for gender equality projects in a fragile Asian state. Out of nearly fifty proposals, the six best proposals needed to be selected for an individual project of up to four million dollars. An elaborate review and assessment process was carried out and through a team decision,a quality short-list was produced for the client.
